The Angler's Logbook x JM Knives

From the outset, our intention with The Angler's Knife was to innovate, not replicate. After several iterations, we've made a high quality knife that we think will become your go-to knife for all things angling.

The blade is rigid but tapered, and features a long leading edge for ease of cutting through fish. The blade is made from recycled, vintage leaf springs and has been forged in a coal furnace, resulting in a distinctive aesthetic which blends ruggedness and refinement. The knife blade will patina over time, telling the story of every use of this hand-crafted knife. Alternatively, a quick rub of steel wool over the blade is all that is required to maintain the original appearance of the blade if desired.

The brass bolster seals the end of the apricot timber handle for improved durability. The handle is shaped by hand to maximise both comfort and grip. 

Included with The Angler's Knife is a handmade timber sheath to protect the knife between use.

Each knife is crafted individually by hand, so there will be minor differences between each one, though the inherent qualities are consistent across each knife.
